Each year, the ED ISCE organizes a scientific day gathering PhD students, teachers, thesis directors, teams and host laboratories. The main objective of this day is to gather PhD students of the different specialties of ED ISCE and to follow the progress of the work of the 2nd year students which will be exposed in the form of posters and flash presentations.
9-9 May 2023 GRENOBLE (France)

The Welcome Note

The members of the board of directors of the EDISCE doctoral school are pleased to invite you to the doctoral students' day which will be held on May 9, 2023 at the Graduate house Jean Kuntzmann at the University Grenoble Alpes.

This edition will be an opportunity for the 2nd year PhD students to present their thesis work to all the EDISCE PhD students. It seems essential to us to propose an event, on the one hand to give the opportunity to the greatest number to present and exchange within our community, on the other hand to maintain the links within EDISCE.

During this day there will be three presentation formats: oral presentations by invited speakers, flash communications, and poster sessions. Special attention will be given to 2nd and 3rd year PhD students so that they can present their results. The main themes selected for this day are related to the specialties of EDISCE:

- BIS: Biotechnology, Instrumentation, Signal and Imaging for medicine, biology and the environment,
- MBS: Models, Methods and Algorithms for Biology, Health and the Environment,
- PCN: Cognitive Sciences, Cognitive Psychology and Neurocognition,
- CIA: Engineering of Cognition, Interaction, Learning and Creation,
- MCA: Movement and Behavior for Health and Autonomy.

EDISCE will award a prize for the 2 best, poster and flash communication, presented during this day in the SHS specialties: (PCN+MCA+CIA) and STS: (BIS+MBS).

We hope that these days will also be an opportunity to maintain the friendly spirit of EDISCE and to promote interdisciplinary exchanges within the Grenoble community.
